Why Go: 
Boys and Girls ages 10-14 from Bethel, Brookfield, Danbury and Redding are invited to try the Knights of Columbus Soccer Challenge (penalty kick contest). Trophies will be awarded to the boys and girls winners in each age group with a chance to move onto the regional and state competitions. Registration begins at 4:30 p.m. amd the contest starts at 5 p.m.

Why Go: 
The Bethel Buddy Walk goal is to promote understanding and raise acceptance and awareness of people with Down Syndrome in our community by supporting the education and research programs of the National Down Syndrome Society. Registration is at 12:30 p.m. and the walk begins at 1 p.m. The first 100 people registered will receive a goodie bag and the first 50 people registered with a pledge of $25 or more will receive a t-shirt. After the walk, refreshments, raffle and sales from local merchants will be availble 
Pricing: Registration fee is $5 per walker $15 per family. All of the money raised will be contributed to the NDSS.

My sister (who has Down's Syndrome) and I will be walking. A great cause, come on down!
