Get Out This Weekend: Christmas Bazaar, Barbershop Quartet, Hike

What to do in and around Bethel this weekend.

Why Go: Start your holiday shopping now. The bazaar includes handmade crafts and gifts, "kiss" prize tree, theme prize baskets, silent bid auction, baked goods, plant sale, BUMC cafe, taste of BUMC and photos with Santa.

2. Bowling to Benefit Morning GloryWhere/When: Brookfield Bowling Alley, 840 Federal Road, Brookfield, Saturday, 1 p.m.
Why Go: Join Catholic Charities Morning Glory Breakfast Program for an afternoon of bowling and fun. Bring your family and friends and help us in our efforts to strike out hunger. Why Go: 
The annual show for Danbury's Mad Hatter Quartet Men in Black and Paralell Fifths of WestConn.
Pricing: 
$15 per person, $10 for students/seniors

4. Pancreatic Cancer Walk
Where/When:
Bethel High School Track, Sunday, 10 a.m.
Why Go: 
Pancreatic Cancer Research Events are a great way to increase funding for research and raise awareness for pancreatic cancer. Lustgarten Foundation Events serve as a wonderful celebration of the progress being made in the fight against this disease and your important participation provides hope for the future. 
Pricing: $50 for pre-registration, $60 at the door

5. 
Where/When: 
5 Sunset Hill Rd, Bethel, Sunday, 2 p.m.
Why Go: 
Visit the Wolfpits Preserve, Bethel Land Trust's largest property.  Come and share your knowledge about the trees, plants, wilflife, stone walls and history of the area while we walk. Wear sturdy boots as the terrain will be rough.  Leashed, friendly dogs are welcome. Refreshments will be served afterwards.
