Get Out This Weekend: Chili, Ice Cream, Tag Sales

What to do in and around Bethel this weekend.

Why Go?: There will be a wide v
ariety of chilis to taste and rate. Hot dogs, baked potatoes, rice, fixings, salad, dessert and beverages will also be available.
Pricing: Adults $10, Seniors $8, Kids $5, Family maximum $25

, Danbury, Saturday, 8 a.m.- 4 p.m.

Why Go: The Danbury Vikings Cheerleaders will he hosting a huge tag and bake sale. Items for sale include: clothes, toys, household items, appliances, furniture, and more. Plus you can also  purchase cookies, hand made lollipops, cupcakes and other goodies. There will also be face painting & tatoos for the kids.All proceeds will benefit the Danbury Vikings Cheerleaders.

Why Go?:
This tag sale will benefit The Prime Timers, Inc., Friends of Danbury Seniors and to augment the programs at Danbury Senior Center.

4. Where/When: 1 Corporate Dr, Danbury, (Behind Kimchuck Building), Saturday, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
Why Go: Bring your family down to the Still River Greenway for a day full of fun and exciting outdoor activities. Scheduled events include: African Drumming & Dance with Ase-AmenRa Kariamu & Friends, kayaking demonstrations, Greenway tours, a kid’s digital photo competition, several informational sessions and more.

5. Where/When: 10 Glen Road, Sandy Hook, Saturday, 12-10 p.m.
Why Go: Ice Cream Heaven is having its grand opening. Come celebrate summer with  delicious homemade ice cream this Saturday afternoon.
