Soundview Credit Union President Tracy Comstock, 50

Tracy Ann Comstock, age 50, of New Milford, died Thursday, Sept. 5, 2013 in New Milford Hospital. She is the wife of Glenn M. Comstock.

Tracy was born Oct. 3, 1962 in Kankakee, IL, a daughter of Thomas D, Murphy of Florida and the late Nancy (Varble) Murphy. She was a graduate of Western Connecticut State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance.


Tracy was currently serving as President of Soundview Financial Credit Union in Bethel. She was an active parishioner of Saint Francis Xavier Church in New Milford, where she taught religious education courses.

Tracy enjoyed playing golf and was an avid reader, especially books by Stephen King. Tracy’s greatest joy was her family and she had a talent for making everyone she met feel loved.

In addition to her husband of 27 years, Tracy is survived by two sons, Adam and Eric Comstock, both of New Milford; two daughters, Vicky Comstock of San Diego, CA and Colleen Comstock of New Milford; a brother, Thomas Murphy of Stuttgart Germany; two sisters, Phyllis LaChance of Danbury and Michelle Murphy of Lakeland, FL.

A gathering of friends will be held in the Colonial Funeral Home, 87 Park Lane Road, New Milford, on Monday evening Sept. 9, 2013, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.

A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Francis Xavier Church, New Milford.
