Obituary: Thaddeus (Ted) Francis Crane

Thaddeus Francis Crane dies at the age of 63.

Thaddeus (Ted) Francis Crane, of Bethel, died Wednesday, March 14, 2012, in Danbury Hospital. He is the husband of Karen (Anderson) Crane.

Crane was born December 3, 1948, in Mt. Kisco, NY, a son of the late James B. and Mary (Terlizzi) Crane. He was a 1970 graduate of Pace University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing. He was employed as marketing director for Porcelli Grocers in Greenwich, CT for over ten years. He adored his three grandsons and spending time with them. He enjoyed music, playing bass in the classic rock band ‘Murphy’s Law’. He was also an avid sports fan and loved animals.

In addition to his wife of 39 years, he is survived by a son Eric T. Crane; a daughter Kara M. (Crane) Sylvia, three grandsons Tye J. Sylvia, Troy R. Sylvia and Chase D. Sylvia.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in , Bethel, on Saturday, March 17, 2012, at 10 am. Burial will be in Ivandell Cemetery, Somers, NY.

Family will receive friends in the , 215 Greenwood Ave, Bethel, CT,  Saturday, March 17, 2012, from 8:30 to 9:30 am.
