Obituary: George A. Sutton, Sr.

George A. Sutton, Sr. dies at the age of 58.

George A. Sutton, Sr., of Bethel, died on Wednesday, March 21, 2012, at Danbury Hospital. He was born the son of Dorothy (Fry) Sutton and the late Robert B. Sutton Sr. in Danbury on October 8, 1953.

Sutton enjoyed fishing and clamming. He was employed by Circle Steel and the City of Danbury. He will be sadly missed by all that knew him.

In addition to his mother, he is also survived by his brothers Robert B. Sutton, Jr., Richard Sutton and his wife Debra, all of Bethel, a son George Sutton, Jr. of New Fairfield, as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of one’s choice.

The family will receive friends at the , 215 Greenwood Ave., Bethel, Tuesday morning from 11 am to 12 pm. At 12 noon the procession will leave the Bethel Funeral Home for Elmwood Cemetery, Bethel where a graveside service will be held at 12:30 pm.
