Loving, Beloved Mother Silvina Cerrón Aliaga, 85
Silvina Cerrón Aliaga, 85, of Bethel, died on Friday, May 10, 2013 at Danbury Hospital. She was in the arms of her loving daughters when she departed this life.
She was born in Perú on September 12, 1927 to the late Bartolomé Cerrón Reyes and Escolástica Aliaga Osorio. Before migrating in 1974 to the U.S.A., she worked at a convent in Miraflores, Lima with the Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (Immaculata, PA).
Her purpose in life was caring for family and friends. She enjoyed baking, cooking, gardening and telling stories about her parents and childhood in Perú. Silvina was a loving and proud mother of two daughters: Angélica Aguirre (Benny Conti) of Danbury and Gloria (Bill) Whaley of Bethel. Dear sister of Bernardina, Emilio Cerrón of Danbury, Arcenio, Rosa and Norma Cerrón of Peru. She was a nurturing grandmother to Jeannette Aguirre (Matt Conley) of Danbury; Brian Whaley (Jennifer ) of New Milford; Brenda Whaley (Michael Piteau) of Simsbury. A great-grand mother of: Antonio, Letizia Butera; Makayla Conley; Jackson, Avery and Chelsea Whaley.
Friends may call at Hull Funeral Home, 60 Division Street, Danbury, CT on Saturday, May 18 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Proceeds will be presented by the family to charities in the little town of Chupaca in Perú where Silvina will rest in the Glory of God.
