In Memoriam: Clarissa Leheny, 75

Clarissa Ann (Trimpert) Leheny, age 75, of Bethel, CT died Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at Danbury Hospital. She was the wife of James R. Leheny.

She was born in Danbury, CT, March 15, 1938, a daughter of the late Dr. Albert J. Trimpert and Zula (Thomas) Trimpert. She was a lifelong Bethel resident.

She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, besides her husband she is survived by her children: Terrence Leheny and his wife Patti of New Milford, CT, Kevin Leheny of Eagle River, AK, Ann Marie Leheny of Bethel, Patrick Leheny and his wife Julie of New Milford, Michael Leheny and his wife Michelle of Danbury, Brian Leheny and his fiancée Mary of Holly Springs, NC; brother: Eugene C. Trimpert and his wife Seeth of Hawaii; 11 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother: Albert J. Trimpert, II.

Memorials may be made to the Stony Hill Volunteer Fire Department, 59 Stony Hill Rd., Bethel, CT 06801.

The family will receive friends at the Bethel Funeral Home, 215 Greenwood Ave., Bethel, Monday morning from 10:30 to 12:00, followed by a procession to St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bethel for a graveside service at 12:30.
