Prior to her retirement she was a cafeteria worker in the Bethel School System for 29 years, a job she took so she could be home with her children during summer vacations from school.

She is survived by her three children, John F. Douglas, Jr. of Bethel, Patricia (Douglas) Provino of Gilford, NH, and Cathy (Douglas) DeBroske of New Milford, a brother Eugene Kaminski of Bethel, a sister Regina Michalsky of Stamford, six grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
