Bethelite Millie Thiele Passes at 85

Mildred “Millie” (Sholes) Thiele, age 85, of Bethel, died Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013 at Filosa Convalescent Center, Danbury. She was the widow of John L. Thiele, Sr.
She was born in Newburgh, NY, June 19, 1928, daughter of the late Roland and Margaret (Purdy) Sholes.
A Home Going service will be held at the New Hope Baptist Church, Danbury, Thursday at a time to be announced. Private burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery, Bethel.
The family will receive friends at the Bethel Funeral Home, 215 Greenwood Ave., Bethel, Wednesday evening from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
