Bethel Native Bianka Seifert Taylor, 79

BHS Class of 1952 grad Bianka Taylor passed away Monday, June 17.

Bianka Seifert Taylor, of New Milford, passed away Monday, June 17, at New Milford Hospital. She is the wife of Harry H. Taylor Jr.

Bianka was born in Bethel on Oct. 29, 1934 to the late Paul and Bianka (Herrmann) Seifert. Bianka graduated from Bethel High School in 1952 and completed secretarial studies at Katharine Gibbs School. In early years she worked in the office at Shepard’s Tannery in Bethel. In 1954 she married Harry H. Taylor Jr. and moved to New Milford. Bianka began working in the office at HH Taylor & Son in 1964 and eventually became vice president. She retired last November.

In her spare time, Bianka enjoyed watching the Food Network and researching the genealogy of both the Seifert and Taylor families. She and Harry also enjoyed traveling, visiting many national parks over the years. They also enjoyed several trips to England and Germany with her siblings.

In addition to her loving husband of 59 years, Bianka is survived by and their two daughters, Susan Sennello and Diane Taylor, both of New Milford and five grandsons, Michael and Christopher Sennello and Daniel, Matthew and Timothy Lewis, which were the greatest joy of her life.

Bianka also leaves two brothers, Paul Seifert and his wife Barbara, Donald Seifert and his wife Lynn, a sister Barbara Olson and her husband Ronald and several nieces and nephews.

Service are private and at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Animal Welfare Society located at 8 Dodd Road in New Milford or to the Meetinghouse Restoration Fund c/o First Congregational Church, located at 36 Main Street in New Milford.
