Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather Arthur Falls, 72

Arthur E. Falls, 72, of Brookfield, beloved husband and best friend of Sandra (Clarke) Falls, died peacefully at Danbury Hospital on Friday, Oct. 4, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

He was born in Danbury on Sept. 4, 1941, son of the late Frank and Grace (Crawford) Falls. He attended Bethel High School and graduated from DeVry Technical School.

Art retired from IBM as a Senior Electronics Technician. After his retirement he worked for LORAD in Danbury.

Art was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. His family has many happy memories, especially his love of playing paintball with his son and grandchildren.

In addition to his cherished wife of 53 years, Sandra, he will be sadly missed by his two daughters, Susan Stevens and her husband, Jeff, and Lori Fleckenstein; his son, Michael Falls and his wife, Stacey; his grandchildren, Jennifer Rivers, Brendan Stevens and his wife, Lisa, Daniel and Alyssa Stevens, Mark Fleckenstein and his wife, Christine, Mercedes and Thomas Williams, and Kirsten Falls; and his great grandchildren, Kayleigh and Brianna Rivers, Abigail Stevens, Jermani, Aiden, and Jaylin Williams.

He was predeceased by his son, Edward Falls; his granddaughter, Korin Fleckenstein; and his brothers, Robert and William Falls, who all greeted him at the Gates of Heaven.

Funeral Information

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, Oct. 8 at 10 a.m. at St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Church in Brookfield. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Bethel.

The family will receive friends at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street Danbury, on Monday between the hours of 5 p.m. and 8 p.m.
