Newtown-Bound Bears & Beyond Still Seeks Donations
Plush friends still sought as Newtown-Bound Bears continues to honor the Newtown angels' memories!! St. Jude is the next recipient ;stuffed animals donations and/or help with postage requested!!
Newtown Bound-Bears & Beyond is still asking for donations to bring to local children in memory of the Newtown angels. We have drop boxes in several places in town, but will gladly accept donations at our own homes. If you would like to donate several (new) plush animals for our upcoming bear hug deliveries, please visit our FB group and PM if you would like to drop them off with us! We are also very excited to be assembling a selection of our stuffed friends to ship to St. Jude Hospital in Tennessee. We are only able to send a small amount currently due to the high shipping prices, but will gladly accept postage donations so that we might be able to send a few larger boxes to such an amazing hospital for the small heroes there!!
There are 20 beautiful children from Newtown who we will never forget, and 20 families we will continue to pray for and support as they begin to heal and move forward. So if you would like to help honor their memories in a very special way, please contact Janice or Jonna for donation information. Every bear hug will go to a special child in a hospital or other program where kids can benefit from some extra comfort, and each one is given in the memory of the kids from Newtown <3
** Please note that any size, shape and style of stuffed animal is very much appreciated, the only thing we ask is that they are new with tags for health reasons.
