Bethel United Methodist Church Raises Funds for Handicapped Accessibility

Bethel United Methodist Church creates the Tree of Life to raise funds for handicap accessibility.

The Bethel United Methodist Church has created "The Tree of Life - a Memorial of Lights", a fundraiser designed to raise funds to make the Church building handicapped accessible.

A large Christmas tree has been set up on the front lawn of the Church, and area residents are offered the opportunity to sponsor a light on the tree.

For $5 per light, people can write a message to honor a loved one (lit by a colored light), or in memory of a loved one who has passed (lit by a white light).

The tree will be lit nightly from now through New Year's.

To sponsor a light, call Lori Mott at (203) 300-8516 or email bmethodistchurch@snet.net.  We thank our sponsors - Big Y, Castle Hill Tree Farm, Lowe's, Onlinelabels.com, everyone who has sponsored a light on the tree!
