Betsy the Dog Needs a Home

Betsy, the Beagle and Pit Bull Terrier mix, is about 2 years old and is quite the social butterfly. She loves playing with other dogs and loves to go on walks.

"She is often introduced to new dogs to see if they do well with the other dogs," Danbury Animal Control said on Betsy's Petfinder posting. "She often brings out the best in them. She is the sweetest girl you will ever meet and fall in love with."

Danbury Animal Control recommends a home with a large enough yard for Betsy to run in although she is described as sweet and loving, a home without small children is best.

"She gets very excited and may knock them over trying to show them love," according to the Petfinder description. "She is working on it though."

If you'd like to meet Betsy, stop by during adoption days or call 203-748-6456 and ask for Officer Craig.
