Volunteers Needed For Brotherhood In Action's Easter Donations

Volunteers and residents (including students that need service hours), are welcome to join Brotherhood In Action this week to help prepare and deliver 200 large boxes of food for Easter to needy families in Bethel. Everyone in the community is welcome to help out - the organization usually gets fewer volunteers at Easter so need as many people as possible.

Food sorting is Tuesday, April 19 at 6:30 p.m., packing is Wednesday, April 20 at 6:30 p.m. and delivery is Saturday, April 23 at 9:30 a.m. All activities take place in the basement of 137 Greenwood Ave., right across the alleyway from the United Methodist Church. The basement is accessed from the parking lot at the rear of the building.

For more than 25 years, Brotherhood In Action receives community wide support in the form of food and other household items, toys and clothes and monetary gifts. It organizes food collections and deliveries to individuals and families in need in Bethel at Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter.
