First Annual Cleanup of the New Milford Section Of The Still River

On Saturday September 17, 2011 – The First Annual New Milford Still River Cleanup will take place starting at 8:30 am at The Dog Pound on Dodd Road, New Milford. The Still River Waterway and Greenway Cleanup is one of the largest single volunteer efforts in our area. Volunteers will work along a four mile long area of the Still River Waterway in New Milford collecting and removing trash and other debris along the way.

Presently we are looking for volunteers not only to help with trash removal, but with trucks for hauling trash.

We are also looking for any donations to help offset the cost of running the project. To volunteer for the cleanup - contact us by email at STILLRIVERCLEANUP@HOTMAIL.COM  or contact Meg Ruta at 860-672-6678
