The EverWonder Experience Presents Celery Science
Calling all biologists and artists. The EverWonder Experience will be conducting celery science experiments this weekend. We will be using celery and food dye to explore the process of water absorption. There will also be an art component to the activity, where we will be using crayons, leaves, twigs and yarn to complete a picture of a tree to show how a tree absorbs water through the the roots.
The EverWonder Experience, a miniature version of what we hope to offer in the permanent museum, will be open to the public free of-charge through March 2014. Children are invited to come and participate in science and art activities, as well as to enjoy a hands-on exhibit entitled “Cool Moves: The Artistry of Motion”. Appropriate for children through age 12.
