The Bethel Museum - OPEN HOURS - FREE ADMISSION

On Saturday July 20th from 2:00pm to 4:00pm the Bethel Museum will open its 171 year old doors, permit all entrants with nary a penny paid, and allow witness to the curious and legendary on display therein.

The Museum, housed in the historic 1842 Second Meeting House at 40 Main Street in Bethel, is currently showcasing a number of PT Barnum items, vintage toys, a recent acquisition of an 1800's zinc gravestone, old hatters' tools, the contents of the 84 Greenwood Time Capsule opened in April 2012, and much much more.

So, march march march over to Main Street, clamber up the hill and follow the array of rainbow-toned elephants past the old town jail, and into the place where the past, present and future all roll into one.  Remember, "History...without it you don't exist!"
