Please join us for DOG DAY on Friday February 28th at 7:00 p.m. at Byrd’s Books as we welcome Dr. Ellen Lindell, author of Chapter 6: School Days. Dr. Lindell will discuss, ”Get it right from the start–building and maintaining healthy behavior”.
Written like the “Chicken Soup”series, this book has each chapter written by individual authors. ”Decoding Your Dog: The Ultimate Experts Explain Common Dog Behaviors and Reveal How to Prevent or Change Unwanted Ones” explains that more than ninety percent of dog owners consider their pets to be members of their family. But often, despite our best intentions, we are letting our dogs down by not giving them the guidance and direction they need. Unwanted behavior is the number-one reason dogs are relinquished to shelters and rescue groups.

Dr. Ellen M. Lindell is a veterinarian and a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Behaviorists. Her specialty practice, Veterinary Behavior Consultations, PC has offices in CT and New York. Dr. Lindell has published chapters in several veterinary textbooks and lectures nationwide in the field of veterinary behavior. Her favorite pastime is dog agility. Dr. Lindell lives in Bethel.
