Trick or Treat Street Halloween Bash

–  On Saturday,
October 26th from 1PM-4PM, historic downtown Bethel and the
Municipal Center Lawn will be transformed into a festive and fun
community-building event in celebration of Halloween. Children will
trick-or-treat along Historic Greenwood Avenue (look for pumpkin stickers in
the window of participating businesses) and take part in the fun activities as
they walk from table to table on the Municipal Center lawn. Activities may
include face painting, bean bag toss, coloring, mini pumpkin painting,
etc.  There will also be a fun
lineup of events at the Municipal Center including a Magic Show, Live Band to
welcome the Zombies (they will walk from Sycamore to the Municipal Center), a  Zombie Combat Demo by Karate America, a
Monster Mash performance by Bethel School of Dance as well as the annual
Costume Contest with prizes provided by The Toy Room.  Mark your calendars now – this is one family event you won’t
want to miss!

Businesses and local organizations wishing to get in on the
fun should RSVP by October 18th by sending an email to Meghan at: meghanf@macaronikid.com  or Jennifer at jzinzi@yahoo.com
