The Bethel Public Schools invites parents/guardians of children in grades PreK-8 to a Parent University workshop:  Understanding the Bethel Public Schools' Social-Emotional Learning Curriculum.  Learn about what social- emotional learning is, its value and benefits for school age children, and Second Step, the program used by PreK-8 teachers to support students' social-emotional learning.  Learn how you can enhance your child's growth and development in this area.  

Presenters are Kim Pollard, School Counseling Coordinator, and Amy Shulkin, School Psychology Coordinator.  Please join us on  Tuesday, November 13, 2012 from  6 PM - 7:30 PM at the Bethel Middle School Library Media Center, 600 Whittlesey Drive, Bethel, CT.  Please RSVP to secretary Heather Michalski at michalskih@bethel.k12.ct.us or 203-794-8670, ext 102
