Dr. Gerard Brooker is a local author, poet, world traveler, and humanitarian who has travelled to more than 100 countries. In this program, he will share his experiences from his most recent trip--to Mongolia! You’ll discover this fascinating country, founded by the infamous Genghis Khan in 1206, through a slide presentation that features the Naadam Festival, Gobi Desert, sand dunes, “flaming cliffs,” camel riding, and other attractions.
Dr. Brooker’s unique perspective brings together the beauty of the land, the depth of the country’s traditions, and the generosity of the Mongolian people.
