Christmas Eve Service Family-style

The celebration of Christmas is an exciting time, especially for those with children.  It can be difficult for our young friends to sit quietly in church, and yet for many families attending church on Christmas Eve is important.

If you have younger children or enjoy the energy and holy chaos of children on Christmas, then please join the congregation of First Congregational Church for our family-friendly celebration of Christ's birth at 6:30pm.

The
children will help assemble the Nativity scene during church.  A Christmas story will be read by Rev.
Laura.   The service will conclude with the singing of Silent Night and a "candle"-lighting: parents are asked to bring a small LED or battery
operated candle or flashlight to use instead of candles.  Candle apps for cellphones and tablets may also be used.

If a quieter service is more your style, then join us for our Traditional Service of Lessons and Carols at 11pm.
