A worship service for the Longest Night

Service for the Longest Night

The First Congregational Church of Bethel invites
the Bethel community to a Service for the Longest Night on December 22
at 5:30p.m. in the church’s sanctuary at 46 Main Street in Bethel.  This service recognizes that while Christmas
is often a time of joy for Christians, it can also be a time of sadness and
stress.  The absence of loved ones
through death and broken relationships is more pronounced; the tensions at home
and abroad are harder to bear.

Through
the reading of scripture, the singing of hymns and a time of quiet reflection, we will affirm our hope in Jesus Christ, the Light of the World.  All are welcome to attend.  For more information please contact the
