Today: Rain this morning will taper off by midday and it will be quite mild. Temperatures should peak in the low to mid-50s, before cooler air moves in later this afternoon. Some partial clearing is expected, but skies should remain partly to mostly cloudy.

Flooding is a serious concern today. Typically flooding will reach its' peak towards the end of the storm, after the heavy rains have fallen and runoff continues. The second half of the day will be dry, so flood waters will begin to recede later today. Still use caution as you head out on the roads today and do not drive into any water-covered roadways.
