Your Bethel area forecast details:

Today: With a low pressure system to our northwest, we will remain on the humid and moist side. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will move through pretty much all day. The only bright spot is that the rainfall should not be nearly as widespread or severe as the past few days. With that said, clouds will keep temperatures from getting any higher than the low to mid-70s.

Tonight: A few scattered showers and thunderstorms may move through early this evening, but conditions will tend to dry up. A few places could see patchy fog, so take care if you are heading out on the roads. Temperatures will be mild, with lows in the lower 60s.

Saturday: It looks like we start the weekend with a bit of sunshine, but any daytime heating is only going to fuel the atmosphere. With the storm not having cleared the area just yet, a passing shower or thunderstorms remains in the forecast. Any breaks of sunshine should help boost temperatures into the upper 70s.

Sunday: The second half of the weekend is when things really start to turn around. Clouds will mix with some sunshine and that will help highs rebound to close to 80 degrees by afternoon. Pretty much an ideal day for any outdoor plans or activities.

Early next week: If the current forecast holds true, we should see some delightful early summer weather into Monday and Tuesday. Highs are expected to reach the low to mid-80s.
