Your Bethel area forecast details:

Today: The morning will feature mostly cloudy skies, areas of fog and a few showers. As the day wears on, the rain will become more widespread, along with possible thunderstorms. Throw high levels of humidity into the mix and it is not going to be a very pleasant day. Temperatures will hold steady in the low to mid-70s.

Tonight: Showers and thunderstorms continue into the first part of the evening. It does look like the rain starts to taper off after midnight. It stays a bit on the muggy side, with lows only dropping back into the mid-60s.

Saturday: Any clouds in the morning will give way to sunshine by afternoon. The humidity levels will also start to decrease, so a very pleasant day can be expected. Highs reach the low to mid-80s by afternoon.

Sunday: As nice as the weekend starts, it gets even better to finish. With plenty of sunshine and relatively low humidity, highs reach the mid-80s. It is hard to get much better than that in July.

Early next week: With the start of a new week comes more humidity and even warmer temperatures. Highs should reach the upper 80s and a few showers and thunderstorms are possible.
