Bring out the umbrellas before it eventually warms up.

Today: Increasing clouds, cool. High: 52.

Cooler than normal weather will continue to affect the Bethel area into the day on Friday. For the weekend, the umbrellas will come in handy, but changes are on the way. Warmer weather will finally return by early next week.

Today: As high pressure moves off towards the east, clouds will be increasing ahead of the next storm system. It will continue to feel quite cool out there, so keep those jackets and sweatshirts handy. Temperatures will only reach the lower 50s, which is about 10 degrees cooler than average.

Tonight: The night starts dry, but showers will move in after midnight. The leading edge of rain ahead of the next storm system is forecast to reach the area during the pre-dawn hours. Lows will fall back to around 40 degrees.

Saturday: Rain will fall, heavy at times through Saturday morning. Once low pressure passes northeast of the area, the rain will taper off to afternoon and evening showers. With that said, the clouds and rain will keep high temperatures in the 50s once again.
