POLICE & FIRE
Bethel Police and fire departments responded to a Christmas Day alleged arson on Maple Avenue. Ryan Martinelli of Bethel was arrested for the charge and is expected in court on Monday.

On Monday, Bethel Police arrested an after failing sobriety test and finding open liquor bottles in his vehicle. The Bethel Police also arrested a for a DUI.

SCHOOLS
 The BHS NJROTC will be on Saturday, Jan. 8 for $10 a household. All proceeds will go toward cadet educational purposes.
