Bethel: Spring Cycling Series Kicks Off

Description: The Bethel Spring Series returns to the Francis J Clarke Circle  for seven Sundays in March and April 2013, held under the auspices of USA Cycling, the national cycling federation. This Series has become the cornerstone spring event for many racers in the New England area, drawing folks from as far away as Vermont, New Hampshire, New York, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Jersey, and occasional guests from Canada and points south like Pennsylvania or Virginia.

Description: The Stray Kats Theatre Company, a not-for-profit, professional theatre company performing at Edmond Town Hall’s Alexandria Room, will get the jump on America’s favorite pastime with Richard Dresser’s hilarious comedy, “Rounding Third”, directed by the company’s Artistic Director Kate Katcher and starring Equity actors JP Sarro and Steven L. Barron.

Norwalk: Norwalk Stamp Show

Greenwich: First Sunday Bird Walk at Greenwich Point Park

The Southbury Bridal Show

Darien: 46th Annual Darien Antiques Show

Cost: Tickets are $10 at the door; $8 for seniors, advanced sales, and ad/discount card holders.

Description: Celebrating its 46th year, the show features over 33 hand-selected dealers of fine furniture, art, carpets, jewelry, and decorative accessories. Party proceeds primarily benefit Inspirica (formerly St. Luke’s Lifeworks).

Fairfield: Friends Classic Mini Golf Extravaganza

Description: CameraWorks 2013 is designed to be an exploration of all photographic arts from the most traditional to the least conventional. Artists from the region are displaying work in black and white or color, film or digital, photo collage, montage and videos.

New Canaan: Fashion Night In

Description: New Canaan High School hosts its annual Senior Prom Fashion Show which features the llatest fashions for prom and casual looks from vendors including Caren Forbes, Togs, True Blue, Athletic Shoe Factory Suburban Couture, Jack Wills, Island Outfitters and Stella and Dot. Benefit and Cherry Street Salon are providing the makeup and hair styling. The evening includes musical performances by the stars of the upcoming high school production of Beauty and the Beast.
