The Red Cross Needs Your Help – Give Blood!
Blood supplies are running short and the Red Cross urgently needs your help!
The Red Cross is currently experiencing a shortage of over 50,000 units of blood and all blood types are needed. Please visit one of the following local blood drives to be hosted this week and save a life:
- July 23, 1:30 - 6:30 p.m., Portuguese American Club, 110 Rubber Ave., Naugatuck
- July 27, 11 a.m. - 4 p.m., Heritage Village, 11 Heritage Way, Southbury
- July 30, 1:45 - 6:45 p.m., VFW 85 Davis St., Oakville
- Aug. 6, 8 a.m. - 1 p.m., Courtyard by Marriott, 63 Grand St., Waterbury
- Aug. 7, 1 - 6 p.m., Oxford Town Hall, 486 Oxford Road, Oxford
- Aug. 8, 1 - 6 p.m., Coca Cola Enterprises Inc., 80 Rado Drive, Naugatuck
- Aug. 11, 8 a.m. - 1 p.m., Woodbury Senior Center, 265 Main St., Woodbury
All donors will receive a free carton of Friendly's ice cream. Also, during the 2012 Red Sox regular season, all presenting donors have the chance to win 2 Boston Red Sox tickets and to be honored on the field as the Blood Donor of the Game!
