My, what an excellent return last week! A great crime, some controversy, and in the end, Courtney B. Vance has a stroke! I loved how Commander Taylor was lurking around the edges of the entire episode, his true colors slowly returning to the surface, as he waited to take over from Pope. Tonight, “The LAPD undergoes a major realignment; Brenda and her team investigate the murder of a girl who was house sitting; Capt. Raydor must explain her audit of Major Crimes.”

The Bachelorette, 8 p.m., ABC
Ashley visits the hometowns of the four finalists. Because you learn so much about a man after meeting his mother.

Man vs. Wild, 9 p.m., Discovery
“After parachuting into this remote area, Bear must cross the country's highest mountain range and figure out how to start a fire in a waterlogged forest.” I only like the episodes when Bear is in his underwear.
