Your Bethel area forecast details:

Today: If you are planning to make turn the holiday into a four-day weekend, this might be your best day to do it. Sunshine mixes with a few clouds, but it stays dry with low humidity. Highs reach the mid to upper 70s.

Tonight: Milder air begins to creep in, as the nights turn progressively warmer. Under partly to mostly clear skies, lows only fall into the lower 60s.

Saturday: The first in a series of storms moves to our north and west. This draws in warm, moist air, boosting temperatures back into the lower 80s. There could be an isolated shower or thunderstorm, but there is a better chance of rain later in the weekend.

Sunday: More moisture moves into the area, turning skies mostly cloudy. Scattered showers and thunderstorms move through, so plan to have an umbrella handy. It stays warm and muggy, as highs stay in the lower 80s.

Labor Day: The stormy weather sticks around, before a cold front passes through late in the day or at night. Outdoor plans will need to be aware of showers and thunderstorms. Highs reach the upper 70s.

Tuesday: As the cold front moves to our east, conditions clear out, cool off and turn much drier. Highs are expected to be in the mid-70s.
