Get ready for some very uncomfortable weather.

Today: Humid with p.m. t-storms. High: 88

A storm system could bring some severe weather to the Bethel area later today. Once the storm clears, conditions improve a bit for Tuesday. Wednesday through Friday are expected to be uncomfortably hot and humid.

Tonight: T-storms, areas of fog. Low: 70

Today: It will be very warm once again, along with high levels of humidity. High temperatures reach the upper 80s, but it will feel even warmer. Clouds build this afternoon, setting the stage for possible severe weather. Scattered thunderstorms start moving through by late afternoon. Pay attention to worsening conditions, as some storms could have strong winds and hail.

Tonight: Gusty showers and thunderstorms move through the area tonight. With muggy conditions and areas of fog, it will be a night to stay inside. Low temperatures only fall to around 70 degrees.

Tuesday: Morning clouds will give way to some sunshine during the afternoon. It stays warm, but somewhat less humid air works in. Afternoon highs top out in the mid to upper 80s.

Wednesday: A heat wave begins and it is only going to get more uncomfortable as the week wears on. Highs are forecast to reach the lower 90s under hazy sunshine. Humidity levels will be high as well.

Thursday into Friday: Get ready for some of the hottest weather so far this year. High temperatures soar into the mid-90s along with oppressive levels of humidity. With the heat also comes possible thunderstorms.
