Forecast For The Week of Monday, June 6
Heat and humidity will roar back into the forecast.
Today: Clouds and some sunshine. High: 76.
The Bethel area will be in a transitional period for the next couple of days. Once a warm front passes through late Tuesday, the warm and humidity will flood in. It is going to feel like the dog days of summer by the time we reach the end of the week.
Today: There will be a low pressure system spinning of the New England Coast. This storm may not bring us any rain, but it will keep clouds in the picture from time to time. Expect a mixture of clouds and some sunshine, with pleasant highs in the mid-70s. If you like spring weather, today will be a great day to enjoy some.

Tonight: It looks like tonight could be the last comfortable night for sleeping this week. Partly cloudy skies and relatively dry air will allow temperatures to fall back into the upper 50s towards morning.
Tuesday: Clouds will stick with us on Tuesday and things could turn a bit stormy as a warm front approaches the area. A few afternoon showers and thunderstorms are possible, as highs reach into the lower 80s.

Wednesday: Summer is back once we reach Wednesday. Hazy sunshine and high levels of humidity will make it feel more like July or August, than June. Highs will reach the mid-80s and the heat index could approach 90 degrees.
Thursday: As far as an actual temperature of 90 degrees, well, that is looking very possible by Thursday. The heat and humidity will only grow stronger, as highs are forecast to reach the lower 90s. This could also spark a late-day thunderstorm.
Friday: The pattern may start to break down as we round out the work week. Showers and thunderstorms are possible for Friday and that may cap highs in the mid-80s. Even if it does cool down a bit, that is still quite warm.
