Starting a new month with typical summer weather.

The active storm track shifts towards the northern United States. This means scattered thunderstorms move through the Bethel area from time to time. As for temperatures, they generally stay on the warm side.

Today: A weak storm system approaches from the west. This means sunshine followed by some afternoon clouds. There could be an isolated thunderstorm late in the day, but any storms will be hit and miss. It stays quite warm as highs reach the upper 80s.

Tonight: Conditions begin to clear out and a very pleasant night is in the forecast. Under moderate levels of humidity and starry skies, low temperatures slip back into the mid-60s.

Tuesday: A beautiful day, perhaps the best of the extended forecast. Skies remain partly to mostly sunny as it stays comfortably warm. Afternoon highs reach into the mid-80s.

Wednesday: Some moisture returns by the middle of the week. This means scattered showers and thunderstorms, along with cooler temperatures. Readings may not get out of the 70s.

Late-week: Although a few isolated showers and thunderstorms could linger, the end of the week starts to warm up again. Highs rebound into the low and mid-80s.
