Forecast For The Week of Monday, April 4

Mild to start the week, then returning back to normal.

Today: Breaks of sun, turning milder. High: 61.

The Bethel area will finally feel a nice taste of spring over the next few days. As a warm front lifts through early today, milder air will flood into the region. A cold front does look to bring storminess early Tuesday, followed by temperatures falling back to seasonable levels.

Today: The day will start overcast and cool, with temperatures in the 40s, but that won't last. A warm front is passing through this morning and that will help boost temperatures. With a few breaks of sunshine by afternoon, temperatures should top out in the lower 60s. With a bit of luck and more in the way of sunshine, highs could climb a bit higher.

Tonight: Bethel will be in the warm sector of the storm system tonight. Although it should remain dry, skies are forecast to stay mostly cloudy. Temperatures will initially fall through the 50s, but should begin to rise after midnight once again. A very warm air mass will move in aloft, causing those rising temperatures.

Tuesday: It will definitely be very spring-like Tuesday morning. Before a cold front reaches the area, morning temperatures will be unseasonably mild, in the low to mid-60s. Some showers and possible thunderstorms are expected later in the morning, as the front moves through. As will be the case on Monday, more sunshine than forecast could boost temperatures higher into the 60s. By afternoon it does look like the front will have cleared through the area and temperatures will start to tumble.

Wednesday: Cooler and less stormy weather is expected for Wednesday. It looks like some clouds may linger across the area, but the day should be mostly dry. Highs are forecast to only reach the lower 50s. Lows at night are expected to be right around freezing.

Late-week: Varying amounts of sunshine and clouds are expected to round out the week. Conditions should remain dry and seasonable, with highs in the 50s and lows in the 30s.

Today: Breaks of sun by afternoon, milder. Highs in the lower 60s.

Tonight: Clouds and mild. Lows in the lower 50s, temps rising late.

Tuesday: A.M. showers, some thunder? Highs in the low to mid-60s.

Wednesday: Clouds, some sunshine, cooler. Highs in the lower 50s.

Thursday and Friday: A mixture of sunshine and clouds.
Highs in the mid-50s.
