Forecast For The Week of Monday, April 11

Beautiful weather today, then turning somewhat cooler.

Today: Turning warm by afternoon. High: 76.

The Bethel area will enjoy a delightful spring day as warmer air moves in. A cold front on Tuesday will bring some damp and cooler weather for the middle of the week. Improving conditions are then expected for Thursday into Friday.

Today: Clouds may be with us early today, but sunshine will break through the clouds by late morning. Temperatures will rapidly climb through the 60s by lunchtime. Highs will make it into the mid-70s by afternoon, so it will be a great opportunity to enjoy some outdoor plans.

Tonight: A mild evening is coming tonight and a line of showers and thunderstorms will advance towards the area. Although a few showers and a bit of thunder is possible, most of the energy from the storm system will be lost once the sun goes down. Most of the rain should hold off until after midnight. Temperatures will only fall back into the 50s, making for an unseasonably mild April evening.

Tuesday: Once a cold front moves through in the morning, some cooler air will work in. The front may try to slow down or stall over the area, so scattered rain showers are possible at any point during the day. Some thunder is also possible during the morning hours. The clouds and damp conditions will keep temperatures down, as highs will only reach the lower 60s.

Wednesday: It now appears that a low pressure system may develop along the stalling front. This could mean another period of showers and cooler weather during the day on Wednesday. Keep in mind that although some rain is possible, it will probably just be in the form of scattered showers. Highs may not get out of the mid-50s given the current forecast.

Late-week: Improving weather conditions are finally expected for Thursday and Friday. With a mixture of sunshine and clouds, mild daytime temperatures are forecast. Highs should rebound back into the 60s, after lows in the 30s.

Today: Clouds, then breaks of sun, warm. Highs in the mid-70s.

Tonight: Scattered showers and t-storms. Lows in the mid-50s.

Tuesday: A few showers, morning thunder? Highs in the lower 60s.

Wednesday: More rain showers possible. Highs in the mid-50s.

Thursday: Mostly cloudy and mild. Highs in the lower 60s.

Friday: Clouds mixed with sunshine. Highs in the mid-60s.
