Does Anyone Trust Tax Preparers?

The votes are in, and apparently, doing your own taxes is not as big an ordeal as one might think!  Or, perhaps the poll question should have read, Do You Trust Tax Preparers?  

None of the tax preparers listed received any votes.

With so many taxpayers in Bethel, it is amazing that 37 percent of the voters do their own taxes.  Less amazing is that 62 percent have their own accountants do their taxes.  

Since only eight people participated in the poll, those percentages are hardly amazing at all, and it is likely that many are using other resources. 

Since there were no reviews, it is certainly hard to know what Bethel residents think about  tax preparation.  Perhaps it is an unpopular subject, especially at this time of year.
