It started when a Windsor Locks man driving down I-84 tossed a cigar out his car window, police say.
At least, that's what John Chipman, 48, of Sandy Hook alleged. He told police when the supposed cigar-smoking driver -- Saeed Farahani, 28 -- tossed the cigar out, it hit his car.
According to reports, after the slight, Chipman trailed Farahani to the Starbucks on Sandy Hill Road and "confronted" him. There, Farahani allegedly shoved the man and kicked his car, according to Chipman.
Both Chipman and Farahani were arrested Friday, January 25 by Bethel Police -- Chipman at police headquarters at 1:32 p.m., Farahni 19 minutes later at the Starbucks.
Both men were charged with Breach of Peace. Farahani was additionally charged with Criminal Mischief.
