  • Need to Register to Vote: The  on Saturday, Oct. 22, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for voter registration and enrollment changes. The deadline to register to vote by mail is October 25 and in person by November 1. Absentee ballots are available in the town clerks office between 8:30 and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.   • Kindergarten Registration: The Bethel Public Schools is currently accepting pre-registration for students who will be entering kindergarten in August 2012. You can start the process by calling Sue White at 203-830-7355 any day between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. You will be asked for basic contact information so that the Board of Education can provide you with paperwork prior to our formal registration in April. In early February you will receive a packet of paperwork to complete, as well as your child’s school assignment.
