  • Election Audit: As mandated by the Secretary of State, the audit of the Municipal Election that took place on November 8, 2011 will take place today at the Stony Hill Fire Dept. As prescribed by State Statue, a hand count of ballots will take place at 9:30 am. The event is open to the public. 
  • Debris Pick-Up: Debris pick-up has been moving fast in Bethel and the schedule has been pushed up a week. Today, pick-up will be in all roads east of Rt. 58, Redding Town Line up to Plumtrees Road, until Saturday, Dec. 3. Starting on Sunday, pick-up will begin in all roads north of Plumtrees between Walnut Hill Rd./Payne Rd., Newtown Town Line and North of Rt. 6. For the complete new schedule, . 
  • Weekend Events: There is a lot going on in Bethel this weekend including a craft festival, diabetes expo and breakfast with Santa just to name a few. .
