Municipal Meetings

  • The Inland-Wetlands Commission will hold a meeting tonight at 7 p.m. in Meeting Room D at the municipal center (agenda).
  • The Library Board of Directors meeting will be held in Meetin Room B at the municipal center, also at 7 p.m. (agenda).

  • Need to Register to Vote?: The deadline to register to vote by mail is tomorrow, Oct. 25 and in person by November 1. Absentee ballots are available in the town clerks office between 8:30 and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. For more information, call the registrar’s office at 203 794-8516.

  • Kindergarten Registration: The Bethel Public Schools is currently accepting pre-registration for students who will be entering kindergarten in August 2012. You can start the process by calling Sue White at 203-830-7355 any day between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. You will be asked for basic contact information so that the Board of Education can provide you with paperwork prior to our formal registration in April. In early February you will receive a packet of paperwork to complete, as well as your child’s school assignment.
