  • Today's Flu Clinic: Bethel's Visiting Nurses Association will be holding a public flu clinic today at English Apothecary, located at 140 Greenwood Ave. in Bethel, from 9-11 a.m.
  • Lunch With The First Selectman: Residents can join the First Selectman for lunch today from noon-1:30 p.m. in Meeting Room A at the municipal center. Bring your own lunch and questions about local issues.
  • National Drug Take Back Day is on Saturday: Tomorrow, the Bethel Police will be collecting unused and expired medications for safe disposal at police headquarters from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. The service is free & anonymous, no questions asked.
  • Absentee Ballots: Absentee ballots are available in person at the town clerks office between 8:30 and 4:30 p.m. until Tuesday, Nov. 1. Monday through Friday. For more information, call the registrar’s office at 203-794-8516.
