Poll shows majority of Americans see a bleak and dark future

USA Today/Gallup poll shows a pessimistic America, and rightly so.

A recent poll done late Tuesday the 1st of January shows that the majority of Americans see a dark and bleak future for America under President Obama and our current government.

One of the key concepts would be that Americans believe our best years are behind us.  I would be one of those people.

Here’s the article, with the poll shown.

Yep.  Our future ain’t lookin’ so bright, so save your shades.

In the new poll, more than three of four Americans say the way politics works in Washington is causing serious harm to the country. Results from the nationwide poll and interviews in this Ohio River Valley city, which counts George Washington among its founders, underscore the rocky road Obama and other officials face in convincing Americans the nation can address its most persistent problems — and that they can be trusted to lead the way.

Indeed.  Indeed.

I know, I know…it’s just a poll.  Things can be suspect when doing any kind of public-opinion poll, ie, who are these people polled, what are their political leanings, who did they vote for, etc.  But dang, folks.  Look around you.  Is this the America you want?

"Bethel teachers are not only educating students, but when society lets kids down, it’sRead More teachers who step in to fill the gap." Explain to me how an average salary of $60,000 per year for working 183 days during that year and an EXTREMELY generous retirement package (compared to the 240 a year the rest of us have to work) considered "society letting them down"?
