Bethel, CT – Private Studio Fitness is excited to announce the launch of Operation Vet-Fit inc., a newly formed Non-Profit corporation that will provide a free 24/7 fitness center, personal training, fitness programs and group fitness oriented events for returning combat veterans.
The official launch date for Operation Vet-Fit inc. was July 23rd when the CT Secretary of State accepted their business filing as a CT Non-Stock Corporation. They are now applying for federal Non-Profit status.
Private Studio Fitness believes Operation Vet-Fit will provide returning combat veterans with the equipment and tools they can use to help cope with combat related Post Traumatic Stress in an environment filled with fellow veterans and supportive members of the local community.
Exercise and Fitness continues to demonstrate positive benefits for our returning combat veterans suffering from all types of service-connected disabilities. So far the program is being utilized by many of our local combat veterans including returning Bethel Navy Corpsman and Silver Star recipient Todd Angell who has said:
“Operation Vet-Fit has helped me maintain a sense of purpose following combat service. Every workout helps me better deal with bad days. It gives me something to work and live for. It helps me maintain a continued attitude of achievement.”
Founded by Private Studio Fitness creator and Marine veteran Daniel R. Gaita and his wife Erin who have both dedicated their volunteer efforts to improve the lives of our returning war heroes. 100% of Private Studio Fitness monthly membership dues now go directly to the support of Operation Vet-Fit.
