Downtown Farmers Market Searching for Vendors

The new farmers market recently setup a Facebook page and Twitter account.

As of yesterday, the Municipal Center Farmers Market has gone viral in order to find vendors for its inaugural season. 

On it's new Facebook Page, the farmers market committee is asking that interested vendors in Fairfield, Litchfield, Putnam, Westchester and Duchess counties e-mail farmersmarket@betheltownhall.org  for more information. Spaces that are 10'x10' are $150 a piece for the entire season. 

The Municipal Center Farmers Market will start on Thursday, July 7 and will run every Thursday until Sept. 15th from 3-6 p.m. on the  lawn, located at 1 School St.

"Myself and the rest of the Municipal Center Farmers Market committee are working hard at inviting people and farms who may be interested in being vendors," Chelsea Berg said on the official Facebook page.Chelsea Berg said on the official Facebook page. "...Even if we only get six vendors to commit themselves for our first market, we'll be thrilled." 

The committee has also setup a Twitter account (@bethelmcfm) to post updates.
