Actors from 'A Christmas Story" to Come to Bethel

Yano Anaya, “Grover Dill” and Scott Schwartz, “Flick” from A Christmas Story will be in Bethel, CT on Friday and Saturday, November 25-26 to meet fans and sign autographs  during the annual Bethel Tree Lighting at Cupcakes & Milkshakes located at 7 P.T. Barnum Square in Bethel.

“A Christmas Story” premiered around Thanksgiving of 1983. It starred the late Darren McGavin as The Old Man and a precocious group of kids, including Ralphie who famously pleaded for a Red Ryder BB gun, although everyone assured him he would only shoot his eye out. The film became a holiday favorite years after its theatrical release and is celebrated annually on cable with a daylong marathon.

Grover Dill and Flick will be on hand to sign autographs on Friday, November 25 from 12–7 p.m. and Saturday, November 26 from 11 a.m–4 p.m. at Cupcakes & Milkshakes, 7 P.T. Barnum Square, Bethel. An autograph ranges from $20-40 depending on size of item and includes a personal picture. Personal pictures without a purchased autograph are $5 per person.
