Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution, Only in America, Deadliest Catch

Tonight's TV Tips.

Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution, 8 p.m., ABC
I love this guy. I love his tiny little lisp. I love his “rebel with a cause” shtick. I love how last year on this show he taught a whole town how to eat with a knife and a fork. This season, he takes on the big bad Los Angeles school district except not really because they don’t let him come in. But is he going to let that stop him? No he’s not! Go Jamie!

Only in America with Larry the Cable Guy, 9 p.m., History
“Larry lives the history of the California Gold Rush; explores minor league baseball; joins a gospel choir.” The fact that Larry the Cable Guy has his own show on the History channel is one of the seven signs, I believe.

Deadliest Catch, 8 and 9 p.m., Discovery
I was never a fan of this show, not because it isn’t good but just because I never remembered to watch it. But even I tuned in last season when poor old Capt. Phil had his stroke and died. And that saga led to the series’ highest ratings. Now they are back, the sons having taken part ownership of the boat, and there’s a new captain. Plus they have to deal with their grief. And catch super-elusive crabs as well.
